Medicare Open Enrollment Season is Here

Open Enrollment

The Medicare Fall Open Enrollment 2024 season is nearly upon us, so you’ve most likely been seeing many advertisements and commercials about Medicare plans. While this can be the most confusing time of year for most beneficiaries, SourcePoint’s certified insurance specialists are available to take the mystery out of Medicare. Our specialists provide unbiased information about your Medicare options to allow you to select the best plans for your individual, unique situation.

Medicare open enrollment is October 15 – December 7.  If you are currently on Medicare, you should take the opportunity to review your prescription drug coverage (Part D) or Medicare Advantage (Part C) plans.

Why Should I Review My Coverage?

  • Prescription formularies may have changed (Part D and Medicare Advantage)
  • Plan networks may have changed (Medicare Advantage)
  • Plan premiums might be changing for 2024 (Part D and Medicare Advantage)
  • Your prescribed medications may have changed (Part D and Medicare Advantage)

Medicare open enrollment is also your opportunity to make changes to how you receive your coverage.

  • Switch from Original Medicare and a Part D plan to a Medicare Advantage plan.
  • Switch from a Medicare Advantage plan to Original Medicare and a Part D plan (enrolling in a Medicare Supplement plan may require medical underwriting).

We know this stuff can be confusing. That’s why SourcePoint is here to help guide you through the process. SourcePoint will start making appointments for “Open Enrollment Check-Up Days” on August 15, 2023.  Appointments are available in-person and by phone.  Register online at the link below or call 740-363-6677.
