Safety Protocols for Members and Guests
Thank you to all community members for your cooperation and support throughout the pandemic!
SourcePoint has responsibly restarted community programs in multiple steps based on CDC and Delaware Public Health District guidance. Based on current guidance and community levels, the mask requirement for SourcePoint’s building is lifted beginning Thursday, March 3, 2022. Cafe 55 and enrichment center programs will return to full capacity beginning in April.
All health and safety protocols are established in an effort to reduce the health risks for staff, volunteers, members, and other guests. Please see below for more detailed information regarding the latest guidelines.
Guest Requirements
Please stay home if you are sick with any flu-like symptoms, including fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
Masks are optional in the building, and welcome for those who choose to wear one based on personal risk factors and comfort.
Masks remain required for bus and volunteer transportation through April18 per the Federal Transit Administration mandate.
What SourcePoint is Doing
SELF SCREENING
All staff perform a self-assessment for flu-like symptoms and exposure risks to determine if it’s safe to come to work each day. We ask that our guests do the same and stay home if sick.
HEALTH & HYGIENE
Everyone is encouraged to wash hands regularly, cover coughs and sneezes using the bend of your arm, avoid touching your face, and make use of hand sanitizing stations throughout the building.
CLEANING & DISINFECTING
High-touch surfaces and common areas, including restrooms, are cleaned frequently throughout the day, and individual rooms cleaned between appointments and programs. Staff also perform routine cleaning each day.
Please note this is a phased restart. These precautions are temporary and will be adjusted or lifted as appropriate. Changes can occur at any time. Please be patient with us as we try to best accommodate our guests’ needs while also keeping guests and staff safe.
