DELAWARE COUNTY, OHIO—SourcePoint invites the 55-and-better community to its annual Health & Wellness Expo on Tuesday, May 19, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Agricultural Center at the Delaware County Fairgrounds, 236 Pennsylvania Ave., Delaware.
Designed for adults age 55 and older and family caregivers, the event brings together over 75 exhibitors offering a range of health screenings, resources, and opportunities to support healthy aging.
Attendees can take advantage of free screenings, such as allergy testing, blood pressure, cholesterol, balance, cognition, hearing, vision, and more. Screenings also include specialized services such as CarFit, glaucoma screenings, mobility assessments, and stress and emotional wellness evaluations.
In addition to screenings, participants can explore a variety of wellness resources and interactive opportunities, including:
- Adoptable dogs from the Humane Society
- Aging services in Delaware County
- Chair yoga demonstrations
- The health benefits of volunteerism
- Lifelong learning opportunities
- Resources for local veterans
- Therapeutic riding programs and equine engagement
The expo offers a convenient, one-stop opportunity for older adults to connect with local organizations, learn about available services, and take proactive steps toward maintaining their health and independence. Admission is free, and golf carts will be available to assist attendees from the parking areas to the building entrance.
