A 1950s Sock Hop Gone Sour
Pull out your poodle skirt and put on your thinking cap – you are invited to join us for an exciting night of mystery-solving, dining, and supporting SourcePoint programming!
SourcePoint’s fall fundraiser returns to the scene of the crime with a brand new interactive murder mystery to solve – A Dance With Death: 1950s Sock Hop Gone Sour. Fundraiser tickets are $85 for a fun-filled event that includes award-winning appetizers, complimentary drinks, a delicious buffet dinner, and a silent auction.
Presented by supporting co-sponsors Performance of Delaware and Willow Brook, this premier fundraising event brings together SourcePoint’s most loyal advocates and community partners to raise money and awareness for the programs and services that promote healthy aging in Delaware County. Sock-hop costumes encouraged!
AWARD-WINNING FOOD BY GOURMET FRESH
Enjoy smoked salmon pinwheels and assorted flatbread pizzas for appetizers followed by a delicious buffet dinner featuring Grilled Flank Steak or Roasted Rosemary Chicken. Side dishes include garden salad, roasted seasonal vegetables, garlic mashed potatoes, dinner rolls and for dessert, seasonal berry and chocolate cheesecake. The buffet drink station offers coffee, iced tea, and water, while the bars provide additional beverage options. Each guest will receive two drink tickets which may be redeemed at the bar for a variety of sodas, lemonade, wine, beer, and mixed drinks. Patrons may purchase additional beverages for $2 (soda/lemonade); $5 (beer); $7 (wine); or $10 (mixed drink).
Silent Auction

Guests will “flip their lids” bidding on a range of exciting items. From tickets to sporting events and trips, original art, certificates to fine dining establishments, and baskets of top shelf spirits, there is something for every interest. Remember, all proceeds benefit services and programs that help Delaware County adults thrive after 55 – so, bid high and bid often!
Costume Suggestions
COSTUMES ENCOURAGED, BUT NOT REQUIRED
Word from the bird is that some of our guests enjoy dressing for the occasion. While costumes are not required, it does add to the fun! This 1950s sock hop is shootin’ to be swell despite the death on the dance floor disaster. Ladies, pull out the poodle skirts, and guys, grab your letterman sweater. We have a crime to solve!

Tickets may be purchased for $85 beginning Aug. 15 at 8 a.m. Seating will be assigned to maximize the event; however, you may reserve a private table when buying 10 tickets. Order your tickets early as we expect this to be a sell-out event.
