POSITION DESCRIPTION
Activity Assistants facilitate or lead activities at SourcePoint’s Enrichment Center or at an off-site Community Café. Activities might include Bingo (caller or runner), Mind Aerobics, card groups, arts & crafts projects, or games.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Volunteers must have the appropriate abilities for the task.
TRAINING
SourcePoint Volunteer Orientation and training specific to the task
TIME COMMITMENT
Weekly or monthly for approximately 2 hours, varies depending on the activity.
LOCATION
SourcePoint’s Cheshire Road location or off-site Community Café.
DRESS CODE
Casual, SourcePoint t-shirt and volunteer badge recommended.
SUPPORT
The Creative Experiences Manager, the Membership Specialist or the Nutrition Program Coordinator support the Activity Assistants, depending on the activity.
