POSITION DESCRIPTION
Café 55 volunteers bring joy to SourcePoint’s dining center on Cheshire Road. They clean off tables, assist diners with signing up and paying for meals, and carry trays when necessary. After lunch, they wipe down the tables and keep everything in order, creating a clean and pleasant atmosphere for diners. Volunteers enjoy a free lunch during their shift.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Volunteers must be able to be on their feet for an extended time, carry light items, and handle money.
TRAINING
SourcePoint Volunteer Orientation, dining center training.
TIME COMMITMENT
Typically one 3-hour shift a week, from 10:30am-1:30pm, and some substituting.
LOCATION
Café 55 is at SourcePoint’s Cheshire Road location.
DRESS CODE
Café 55 apron over casual but appropriate clothing. Volunteer badge recommended.
SUPPORT
The Dining Site Hostess supports the Café 55 volunteers.
