POSITION DESCRIPTION
Community Outreach volunteers represent SourcePoint by staffing informational tables and booths at events such as health fairs, festivals, the county fair, and more. They have knowledge about SourcePoint services that they share with community members who might find the information beneficial.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must be able to drive to the event sites, carry literature and supplies or pull a dolly, and sit for 2-3 hours.
TRAINING
SourcePoint Volunteer Orientation, departmental training as needed
TIME COMMITMENT
2-3 hour shift on an irregular schedule. Most events take place on weekends.
LOCATION
Events throughout Delaware County.
DRESS CODE
Casual. SourcePoint t-shirt and volunteer badge recommended.
SUPPORT
The Outreach Coordinator supports the Community Outreach volunteers.
