POSITION DESCRIPTION
Concierge volunteers are knowledgeable about SourcePoint’s Enrichment Center programming and facility in order to provide tours to visitors, either by appointment or walk-in, and may cover the Gift Shop cash register when necessary. It is preferable that Concierge volunteers be active SourcePoint members.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Volunteers must be comfortable walking the building, must speak clear English, and exude friendliness.
TRAINING
SourcePoint Volunteer Orientation, Concierge and Gift Shop training.
TIME COMMITMENT
Concierge volunteers typically volunteer for one 2-hour shift per week and occasionally substitute.
LOCATION
SourcePoint’s Cheshire Road location.
DRESS CODE
Business casual. SourcePoint volunteer badge recommended.
SUPPORT
The Membership Specialist supports SourcePoint’s Concierge volunteers.
