POSITION DESCRIPTION
Ensure Deliveries volunteers use their own vehicle to drive a route delivering cases of liquid nutritional supplements (Ensure or Glucerna) to homebound seniors.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Volunteers must be able to load 12-lb cases onto a dolly, navigate uneven terrain, and be comfortable driving in inclement weather.
TRAINING
SourcePoint Volunteer Orientation, Ensure Deliveries training
TIME COMMITMENT
Typically a weekly or monthly commitment for approximately 2 hours. Deliveries always start at 9:00am on Friday mornings.
LOCATION
Pickup and return is at SourcePoint’s Cheshire Road location with deliveries made to homes in Delaware County.
DRESS CODE
Casual. SourcePoint t-shirt and volunteer badge recommended.
SUPPORT
The In-Home Care Volunteer Specialist supports the Ensure Deliveries volunteers.
