Volunteers with a knack for public speaking become OSHIIP certified to lead SourcePoint’s “New to Medicare” classes. These informative sessions give new or prospective enrollees basic knowledge to start their Medicare journey. Some class leaders also provide one-on-one insurance counseling. Volunteers cannot possess a current insurance license or work in a field with a conflict of interest.
Volunteers must be able to stand for much of their two-hour presentations and be able to complete a 20-hour online class.
