Delaware Antique Mall is exactly “History Coming Alive” in front of you! The Mall is owned and operated by Debbie Collom, M.B.A. She fell in love with antiques after purchasing a Victorian mansion on West Winter St. The adventure began when she attended auctions and estate sales and looked for treasures in the local antique stores in central Ohio and by doing so opened, along with her spouse Rodger Collom, the only surviving Bed and Breakfast in town, The Winter St Inn. The adventure did not stop there! She decided to give antiquing a try.
In only six short months she made the decision to buy The Delaware Antique Mall from Merrill and Ann Kaufman. The Delaware Antique Mall has been open for over twenty-three years, with Collom owning it for the last nine years. She set out to make it the showplace of malls in the county by offering not just antiques but collectibles and décor as well. With a focus on making the store accessible to all; she and Rodger have grand plans to open the second floor and make it accessible to everyone by installing a lift this year.
The mall is not only owned and operated by a senior citizen herself but, 95% of their employees are over fifty, with a knack for making everyone feel at home and safe in their surroundings. We invite you to stop in, spend some time, and take a nostalgic walk down memory lane.
